WebNov 1, 2024 · Our company recently turned on 2FA for one of our clients. We were using option 1 to set up our scan to email but it broke after we enabled 2FA. We tried to use option 3 ( Office 365 SMTP relay). It worked for the Ricoh printer but the canon image runner printers will not work. We then tried to use option 2 (direct send) but it still doesn't work. WebFollow the procedure below to send the scanned data as an e-mail from the computer. Make sure printer is turned on. Load original on platen glass. Select Scan on the HOME screen. The screen for selecting to which you save the data is displayed. Select Attach to E-mail. Select a computer to forward scanned data.
