WebYou could certainly play the second one and enjoy it without playing the first. I will say that the first is a pretty good game that gets a lot of flak but is absolutely worth playing. There's even a graphics mod that makes it look pretty great even by 2024/2024 standard. I like both but prefer Chicago to the Bay Area.
