HTB Academy is 100% educational. There are exercises and labs for each module but nothing really on the same scale as a ctf.

Webin my experience hackthebox is the best of all those because you compete with other people t hen you g et to end game and get more machines, is more realistic instead of a one game download vm, but thats just me. I currently pay for subscriptions to hackthebox and pentesterlab, and I've also used vulnhub.
