It has been modified to make use of modern multi-core CPUs, enhanced lookahead and a high performance DGEMM for AMD GPUs. WebHPL is a High-Performance Linpack benchmark implementation. The code solves a uniformely random system of linear equations and reports time and floating-point execution rate using a standard formula for operation count. HPL is written in a portable ANSI C and requires an MPI implementation as well as either BLAS or VSIPL library.
